We wanna make things better around here. Before I start tho, please don't take this the wrong way, I'm just making suggestions here and and some observations!
Ok so first off, we need a better mix here. It seems that about 85% of the Dj's here play jump up and not a whole lot of differnt styles. No offense but just about every set I hear sounds the same. I'm thinking listeners are also thinking the same as our numbers are kinda down.
2nd, we need more DJ's plain and simple. I understand that it can be tough as I am a member of other stations and it seems either theres not much interest anymore or what...But ya seems Dj's are hard to come by these days! We need more going on here....not listening to archives for 20 out of the 24 hrs in a day! :P
3rd, There needs to be at least 2 more admins on the site and in chat to help. Neo and Mx Are generally pretty busy and can't be here all the time. YES IM OFFERING!!! Its just that when there not around theres no help for people and potential new listeners and dj's.
All these things contribute to maintaining a great site....not saying KRISIS is bad but needs improvement!
Now as a DJ and listener / member of this site....I can only do so much by spreading the word and telling people I know about the site, but it can't be a single effort ALL of our DJ's Members have got to get the word out....this is how communities are built and we need to develope a community here.
And on that note.....thats what I wanted to bring up.
BIG UPZ KDNB....MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT!!!!

Got to welcome AskArt to management!
Only noticed yesterday or was it wednesday?!?
Fair comments Jay, although we do have 5 admins who r about most of the time but for u international guys i know what u mean as we're all sleep lol.
U get my vote 2 join the team ;)
Yo biggups Jaygatz for the post always good to get peoples perspective on things. My personal feeling about what you mentioned is a bit mixed I guess, then again its bound to be.
With regards to the style of music playied on Krisis it has to be said that most of whats playied tends to be jump up. Personally I dont like much other DnB so you wont hear me playing or buying much else normally and maybe some other DJs also feel the same. It would definatly be nice to get more a mix of styles but as you go onto say in your second point, they are hard to come by.
If there was more DJs able to do more of the open slot times then we of course would have much control over the styles playied but quite frankly we don't.
The schedule does tend to be live from 4ish through till 2am most days. DJs not turning up has been a problem in the past with the new site and the functions we have built into it this is now a hell of a lot easier than before and we ARE monitoring DJ attendence. You may of seen a few changes already and show changes where DJs have been asked to commit or leave, but generally I think we are live for the majority of the UK prime times.
More international DJs are needed and we are always pushing hard to get the slots filled up to make the whole schedule "Prime" slots for different time zones internationally, again very hard for MX and myself to champion alone.
The issues with the need more admins on the site is being address as we speak. We have obviously just moved to a new site and once we get settled and on our feed we will be in a better postion to delegate control out to a few trusted members.
I personally feel too many DJs want spoon fed all the time, what people need to remember is we have 60+ DJs to look after and each DJ needs to take responsibilty for making sure they are setup and prepared for thier shows. We ask people are in chat 10 minutes minimum before your start time and for DJs to work things out between them for show changes or if they need cover. The radio needs to be seen as a separate service to the chat, and we should not rely or judge the radio on the chat in anyway (People not active in chat is no reflection on DJ/Show performance excuse for no effort on shows) however more people on hand to help out generally with the site is needed defiantly.
Im dont want to go on a rant about the things that I feel DJs need to do more of as yes as Jay pointed out there is definatly room for improvement. The suggestions are valid and we always welcome advice in any way, I do just think things need to be brought into perspective a little bit.
We have just moved to a new website, this has been a BIG milestone in how we are moving forward and where we want and are trying to be. This is only the very start and we have much planned to improve things for everyone, however these take a considerable amount of time. The V3 journey started for me back when we launched V1. Many people think I have not really done a lot over the past 2 years but as soon as we launched in March 07 I booked up on 4 basic business courses and got Krisis ready for a new site, I have spent the last 2 years preparing and planning and 8 months of development to get to where we are now. In the meantime MX had put together and maintained a class site which got us the reputation we have today.
KrisisDnB is run as a business and setting that up was a task in itself and all that was needed before we can take a penny/cent of cash from anyone.
The previous site was very labor intensive and one of V3s goals was to free up more time for MX and myself to focus on the runnings of the station and site, with this now in place we are working more on promotion, funding, policies, procedures and the general day to day runnings. This will be assisted with new cutting edge upgrades on the site and delegation of control out to thoe trusted members who are interested in helping out.
We want things to work out just like everyone else and Jays comments are a good start of suggestions, please keep them coming, we are a community and yes we rely on everyone spreading the word. Without funding KrisisDnB would not exist so if you can donate, sponsor or purchase from the shop it all helps us keep going month to month and paying the increase of 14 times our previous site running costs.
Biggups to everyone for all the hard work put in and biggups to Jay
umm...... what neo said. hahahaa
Bet you didnt quite expect a reply the size of Lord of the Rings Jaygatz.
As NeO said its good to hear other peoples opinions and views. Its going to take a while for things to settle with the V3 site, but we deffo do need someone from your side of the water to help us manage things when the uk goes to sleep. Its especially more important now that we have almost as full a schedule in your prime time as we do in the uk. When things are properly settled then either NeO and myself will go through the bits on the site that we need help with maintaining.
People like Mixup, Caste, Destructive have been very patient as well as they have all helped run bits of the site with us and it has been appreciated by both NeO and myself, but we simply havent had the time to go through things with people as yet

hiii
i m new in this forums and i just need a help in it
and i wish that this site will response me well,,,
