Its been another huge year on KRISISDnB, as weve well and truly taken top spot from a lot of the other longer running stations, and left the other small stations even further behind. As always on any station there have been good and bad moments, but this year for sure the good things have by far outnumbered the bad.

INTERNET RADIO AWARDS

Another big year for awards with The Rugged Rinseout Show being nominated for Best Internet Radio Show in the Toronto Awards for the second year running. With KRISISDnB.COM now nominated for Best Internet Radio Station as well its even further recognition that were so close to bringing an award home very soon !! CLICK LINK BELOW TO VOTE !!!!

BIG NAME EVENTS

We had some massive events starting back in February where we had KRISISDnB DJ and head honcho of CROOKED BEATZ RECORDS HIGHROLLER over from Perth Australia alongside MC RHYMES for our first event of the year in Portsmouth. Following on from that we went into overdrive to bring names including TWISTED INDIVIDUAL, SIMON BASSLINE SMITH, TANTRUM DESIRE, SUB ZERO (G-DUB), DJ PLEASURE, DJ SLY, DJ RUSTY, DUB ZERO, MANGA, THE FORCE, MC RHYMES, YOUNGMAN MC and many more !!

KRISIS AT THE ASHLEY - FREE EVENTS

Big ups to the one and only MC STAMMA for starting of whats been one of the main highlights of the year. Who would have thought a rave in a pub in a small village in the New forest would ever work. Well I certainly didnt! With 4 events during 2009 (18th December is the latest to round off the year) its been an amazing event each time. Stamma organised and promoted the first ones with ease and had the Ashley rammed both times. As many of you know he has been unable to be at the last events, and it was a daunting task to take over running it for him. With the christmas event almost on us we had to do something to repay the loyalty that everyone in the forest has shown this event and bring down a headliner. DJ BREAKNECK is signed on no less than 4 record labels and has played alongside DJ RUSTY (Brazil), TANTRUM DESIRE, and THE FORCE at our headline events earlier in the year. Expect more big moves in the scene from Breakneck during 2010!

INTERNATIONAL TOURS

The summer came and it was a true pleasure to have DJ Rusty and AskArT make the trip over to Southampton to see where it all started nearly 3 years ago. It was also my go to do a tour, so over to Belarus for 2 huge events alongside Red Catz for my first trip, then back to Belarus and this time Ukraine for yet another event in the Ukranian capital of Kiev.

V3 WEBSITE LAUNCH

In between events, shows and tours, NeO had been working constantly on the V3 website. Almost a years worth of work finally went live on the 26th September. A whole new design, new logo, new features, and a solid base for us to make future developments easy to embed into the underlying infrastructure. Built as a complete social networking site where you can add your friends and favourite DJs and MCs, what you see right now is just the start. We will keep adding new features to make it have whatever you want to connect with friends, family, DJs, MCs, and more. Let us know what you would like to see so we can add it to the list for Phase 2 and beyond.

NEW DEVELOPMENTS

Since we launched the V3 site in September weve made some major integral changes, including an adjustment of the management structure. AskArT (Germany) and Jaygatz (Canada) have both made significant inputs to the station, in terms of helping run the chatroom and coordinating shows, to AskArT helping with some of the developments that have kept the station moving forward. NeO and myself are always greatful to whatever help people can give, and its right that its recognised on the site itself, so cheers to both of you !!! Alongside Mixup and Caste who have also helped keep the site in order, it makes up a solid team of professionals to keep things in order. As always were always looking out for others to help write fresh content for the new site so if you want to help then let us know. One of our aims is to make this a news portal for DnB music related topics, so if thats something that interests you then were interested too !

KRISIS CHANNEL 1 and KRISIS CHANNEL 2. What used to be just a simple webcam for those shows that used them, now forms the basis of 2 dedicated TV channels with live shows, event promos, and videos. We plan to add to the content in the coming weeks and months to fully exploit this massive new venture.

The download section has seen a large number of additions of live show and event recordings and you can expect to see more of those added periodically.

KRISISDnB RECORDINGS has had 2 waves of releases so far, and its showing great potential from artists around the scene playing some of the belters that we have released so far. TICKET SALES are a huge new feature weve added so you can get your tickets for not only KRISISDnB events but more as well. Expect to see plenty of event listings from promoters across the scene in the coming months. If possible we will give KRISISDnB members special discounts on tickets if we can

NEW SHOWS

There have been a huge number of new shows that have started on KRISISDnB during 2009. I really cant remember them all (everyone should know my brain isnt as good as it should be), but the ones that stick in my head for one reason or another has been the addition of DJ ARTOMIK and APE RECORDINGS from Brazil bring more craziness to KRISISDnB.

DJ Ghosty has already made an impact on the station before NeO on fridays. Im expecting big things from A-JAY as his profile shows he has played with the best in the business,

DJ PROSPEC is head honcho of Subsonic Audio Records so expect all the forthcoming releases ahead of time as his label launches in early 2010.

DJ VAST has a new slot on tuesday nights after myself and ROR.

And how could I possibly miss out the BACK TO DRUM AND BASICS show with DJ FLY, KAIZER and MC SPOOKA which has taken the station by storm in recent months as they wobble there jump-up way into wednesday evening.
