Origins of KRISIS (c) 2007

Started with the collabaration of DJMX and DJ NeO with the Pure Sickness shows back in 2006. 2 unknown bedroom DJs who had both taken the step to get more exposure in the scene. They played weekly shows on various small radio stations which gave them a core of supporters that enjoyed what they did. Taking a different view on how they did shows saw a large collection of guests performing alongside them. They launched the ‘Special’ to display bring more DJs down to KRISIS Studio X for a massive show. These Specials saw guests including Alter Ego, Lyptikal, and Spekky alongside large lineups of the regular DJs and MCs that were on the station at the time. If one special should stand out from the early days, its NeO’s birthday special ‘Violation’ as it had everything that an event would possibly want.

KRISIS DNB 2007 - present

KRISISDnB was officially opened as a Radio station on the 21st March 2007 and brings you the freshest new talent, established artists from around the world, and of course the founders of the KRISIS ( MX and NeO )

KRISISDnB is an established event promoter on the South Coast having organised multiple events in Southampton, Portsmouth and Bournemouth to name the main ones. The ethos of our events is to promote as many of the DJs and MCs who perform on the radio station, alongside some of the best known up and coming names in DnB. We have already had artists such as Twisted Individual, Simon Bassline Smith, DJ Pleasure, DJ Sly, Tantrum Desire, The Force, Highroller, Lyptikal, Nightbreed, Jayline, Twin Audio (Alter Ego), Dub Zero, MC Rhymes, MC Spooka appear at our nights and thats set to continue in the coming months and years.

KRISISDnB holds first international event alongside Chaos Labz at Club EX2 in Oldenburg, Germany on 4th October 2008 and making 7 international DJs (NeO, Vitel, MX, Etch, Subsonic, Krystical, Torn) and 2 international MCs (Spitfire, Double MC) in the process.

With DJs and MCs from not only the UK but also Perth (Australia), Toronto (Canada), Los Angeles (USA), Brazil, Georgia, Belgium and Belarus this is set to extend this even further in the future.

KRISISDnB was been recognised by Knowledge Magazine as the featured Internet Station for November 2007

October 2008 saw the Rugged Rinseout Show finish in 2nd place for there show on KRISISDnB in the Toronto Drum and Bass awards. Big ups to Louda and Lady Cronic. A massive achievement for you and the station

KRISISDnB.COM is the official Drum and Bass promoter for Southern Sound Festival for 2009. The Warmup show for this huge event will be live on KRISISDnB.COM on the 29-30th August 2009 with another big lineup of KRISISDnB DJs, MCs and a few special guests as well.

October 2009 and The Rugged Rinseout Show nominated for Best Internet Radio Show in the Toronto Drum and Bass Awards for the second year running.

November 2009 KRISISDnB nominated for Best Internet Radio Station in the Internet Radio Awards.

February 2010 KRISISDnB now managed from both UK (NeO) and Belarus (MX)
